When couples sign up to create a gift registry (couple) they agree to Koru Experiences Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. Wedding guests and visitors who access, view and/or purchase gifts also agree to this Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.

Information Collected by Koru Experiences

Koru Experiences collects the following types of information. The couple and guests have given their authorization to collect, receive, use and share such information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal Information

When a couple creates a gift registry, they will be required to provide their personal information, such as your first name, last name, postal code, photo (optional), and e-mail address.

If you contact Koru Experiences via the Contact Koru page, you will need to provide your name and email address. You authorize this company to collect, store, and use, in accordance with this Privacy Policy, any and all such personal information.

When a wedding guest purchases a gift they will provide their contact information and payment option information.

All personal information is given voluntarily.

User Generated Content.

User Generated Content (UGC) is any content that is made publicly available by users of a system. In this instance, UGC is created by the wedding couple or wedding guests. Content could be on Facebook, Instagram, or this website. If a couple or wedding guest choose to comment on these platforms they are allowing  Koru Experiences permission to publish or modify the post into different formats, as long as it is  in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the relevant laws regarding data privacy. Koru Experiences will most likely use UGC for advertising and marketing purposes. Koru Experiences will not take ownership of this content and will not provide any form of compensation. This regulation will not expire.

As UGC is available to the public, please be sensitive when posting information on this website or social media platforms. Any language that is discriminatory based on race, gender, sexual orientation, ancestry, or a mental or physical disability is a violation of human rights, and will not be tolerated.

Financial Information

When purchasing a gift through Koru Experiences, wedding guests will be required to provide certain financial information, such as information related to their PayPal account, debit card number, credit card number, expiration date, bank account information, billing address, activation code, and similar information. Such financial information will be collected and processed by our Third Party Payment Processor pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use. Koru Experiences will not have access to any financial information in connection with these transactions.
